The following are pictures from my car to show what has been
or is being done to it. See my specifications
page for details on what's in the car. Also, please forgive my descriptions
since I'm not a car expert by any stretch of the imagination. If you know more
than me and want to correct me please send
me email and I'll update the page. Lastly, you may
duplicate (not sell) these pictures elsewhere for instructional purposes only,
but you must attribute them to me along with a reference to this web site. Click

Engine Compartment -
OUT OF DATE!
Toby Peterson of DeLorean Motor Company Bellevue has dramatically
reworked the ignition system location and wiring, air intake setup,
throttle setup, more. I'll get new pics up soon as it really looks nice! |
 |
Full View
Engine replaced with a 1991 Eagle Premier 3.0L V6
(PRV-B280F).
I did this because my original engine overheated and
was unsalvageable. |

Left Side
Overhead View
A view of the Electromotive - TEC II fuel injection
and ignition system along with a glimpse of the stock exhaust.
Yes, the A/C belt is not installed, because it broke
off due to slight misalignment. The compressor is empty anyhow due to a
leak, so I decided to just leave it for now, since it's not hot here in
Seattle. |

Right Side
Overhead View
Here you can see the K&N air filter and metal
coolant bottle.
At the top right you see a brass T hose fitting which
is a self-bleeder for the cooling system.
Also, at the bottom left you see a metal cylinder with
bolts just to the left of a coolant hose clamp. That's the magnetic
timing sensor for the TEC II setup. |
 |
Oil Pan View
This is the stock DeLorean bottom-end. At the top note
the stock muffler wrapped with insulation and new heat blocker thing
just behind. |
